Forwarding email to Spoke

Updated 2 months ago by Andrew White

Begin by logging into the email account or alias you'd like to forward into Spoke.

Please note: This email alias will need to be invited to Spoke as a user. Spoke only replies to requests from known users.

Gmail

  1. Navigate to the Gear Icon in the top right
  2. From the dropdown, select "Settings"
  3. On the resulting page, select "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" from the top bar
Add "--" above your email signature to prevent your signature from being added to requests.

Select "Add a forwarding address"

If this is a general "Help@yourcompany.com" alias, enter the Spoke general email from the bottom left of your Spoke account.

If this inbox is used by a specific team, use the email address on the Team details page to forward emails to a specific team.

Congratulations! Now all emails from this inbox will be forwarded into Spoke and create requests.
