User roles in Spoke

Updated 3 weeks ago by Andrew White

Spoke has three user roles:

  1. Administrators: Administrator permissions cover all actions in Spoke, with the exception of changing the organization’s owner. That can only be done by someone with Owner level permissions. (Owner Roles are given to the first person to set up the account)
  2. Team members: Each team in Spoke will have team members who are responsible for answering requests as they come in. Administrators can also be team members.
  3. Requesters:  Requesters will be the largest group which you invite. These users don’t need to be a part of a team; they will be asking questions. Requesters can begin asking questions as soon as they have been invited.

Please keep in mind: Administrator permissions are not needed to answer requests. Administrators have access to private requests & billing details that may not be appropriate for all users.

Below you will find a table which outlines the actions available to each role.
